A WELL FOR THE MISSION AND COMMUNITY

.The lack of clean water during periods of drought has been a serious problem throughout the Mombin Crochu region. This has resulted in a variety of health problems and even deaths during periods of serious drought. The primary water source in the village is a large water collection cistern that collects water runoff from the nearby mountains. During periods of drought, that water supply  becomes very limited or non-existent  A reliable source of clean water at the mission site would be a tremendous benefit. It would provide reliable clean water year round for the church, orphanage and free school . It would also enable the construction of a chicken farm on the mission sight. This water supply could also be available to to other residents of Mombin Crochu when the local water source becomes scarce.
NOW THINGS ARE GOING TO CHANGE BECAUSE

The Well is Finished
Thanks to generous gifts by several mission followers, a life-saving well was drilled and is now operating at the mission site. There is a hand pump as well as a solar operated electric pump. The well will not only benefit the mission but also the greater Mombin Crochu community..
